About the club
Wellingborough Golf Club, situated at Harrowden Hall in the heart of rural Northamptonshire, offers a magnificent golf course with facilities for hosting business meetings, seminars and private functions, all within a short distance of the main motorway networks.
The buildings date back to the early 15th century when its owners played host to Henry VIII. It also harboured the conspirators of the Gunpowder Plot in 1605.
Harrowden Hall was rebuilt after a major fire, and visitors can still enjoy the house, gardens, paintings by Lanscroon, and garden sculptures by Van Noost.
The landscaped gardens combine with the 160 acres of beautiful rolling parkland, including 1500 mature trees, to produce the perfect location for golf. An abundance of wild life adds to the scene and makes playing golf at Wellingborough "something special".
In 1999 the greens and their surrounds were completely re-laid to exacting USGA standards that allow members and visitors to play the course throughout the year. We retain the services of a consultant agronomist who works closely with our own Head Green-Keeper and his dedicated team.
Wellingborough Golf Club is a private members' club which welcomes visitors to its unique clubhouse and magnificent course to "Enjoy the experience!"
