About the club
Probably ranks amongst the top five favourite courses of most golfers connected to the East Lancashire Golf Association
Fair but challenging, the Glen View course (as BGC is known locally) stands on the fringe of the Habergham Eaves moors which overlook Burnley from the road towards Rawtenstall. It is a course which makes excellent use of the rolling countryside and offers a true test to golfers of every standard.
Founded in 1905 as a nine-hole course, Glen View was lengthened to 18 holes in 1914. In the years since then, the course has been continually improved, as has the clubhouse itself, making available modern facilities to members and visitors alike.
