About the club
A two hundred year old, grade II listed clubhouse, allied to a course laid out by world famous golf course architect, James Braid, gives us a hidden gem tucked away on the outskirts of Newcastle. This is a calm and peaceful environment where you can enjoy a relaxing round of golf, Arcot provides an excellent test for all levels of ability.
Wildlife abounds with deer and red squirrel among the ancient oak, beech and chestnut trees as well as the silver birch. Rhododendron and gorse, blackthorn and mayflower add spectacular colour as well as cover for a wide variety of bird life, with rare grasses and wild orchids adding to the diversity of an already splendid landscape.
Whether you are looking for a quiet game of golf or a first class venue for your society or corporate event, you will find yourself spoilt for choice at Arcot Hall.
