Founded in 1892, Headingley is the oldest golf club in the City of Leeds. Located in a rural setting in the north of Leeds, Headingley is a heathland style course with a rolling terrain and slick greens. The course has recently been expanded by the extension of the seventh and eighth holes to par 5's and four greens have been relaid to USGA standards. The result is a challenging course, producing a stern test of golf for players of all standards. The clubhouse has stood on this spot since 1906 and boasts spectacular views over the 18th green and the dreaded ravine. The modern facilities include three bars available to refresh yourself after your round and luxurious modern changing rooms. The restaurant and lounge can cater from four to to over 100 guests in comfort, a facility used often by the active social section.
